CYDONIA oblonga 'Portugal'

'Quince'. Fruit : Large, yellow Flesh : soft, sweet, becomes light pink when cooking. Ripeness : End of October. Flowering : May-June with large, white flowers, self-fertile. Quinces are used for flavouring, jelly and tarts.(5)
