CLEMATIS montana

Description

A popular species of vigorous, often rampant growth and strong constitution. Stems 6-9m long with trifoliate, almost glabrous leaves. Flowers white, 5-6.5cm across, borne on long stalks in great profusion during May. A lovely climber for any aspect, excellent for growing in trees, over walls, outhouses and arbours, particularly those with a norhern aspect.
