MISCANTHUS sinensis 'Ferner Osten'

A very early flowering miscanthus, often as early as the beginning of July. It has an upright habit and coppery-red foliage and exceptional red/purple flowers. Gives wonderful autumn colour. Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Height 1.2m. Spread 1m. Hardy.
