LABURNUM anagyroides

'Common Laburnum'. A small tree flowering in late May or early June, the drooping racemes crowded along the branches. The species differs from L. alpinum in its earlier flowering, shorter racemes, smaller, dull green leaves which are grey-green and densely adpressed hairy beneath and in its rounder, adpressed hairy pods. All parts poisonous, including the seeds.(6)
