TILIA henryana

A rare, medium-sized, attractive tree with broadly ovate leaves, up to 15cm long, with conspicous bristle-like, soft teeth. Flowers in autumn. Very sloAlthough related to the common parkland lime, this is a much smaller tree that is ideal for the average garden because of its slow growth habit. The foliage is handsome with a glossy surface, serrated edges and a rough silvery underside. The leaves also colour well in the autumn for added interest. (4)
